Beginner fencing equipment consists of a jacket, knickers, underarm protector, mask, glove, and practice weapon. You may borrow ours or purchase your own in our Pro-Shop at a discounted price. Beginner fencers should wear comfortable training pants, indoor sneakers or tennis shoes, T-shirts, sweatshirts. Intermediate and advanced fencers may wear stronger, like 350 NW fencing attire. International fencers wear FIE homologated jackets, knickers, underarm protectors and masks. They are the best, as they are made with 1600 NW puncture-resistant fabrics such as Kevlar.
