HOOKED ON FENCING
You decided fencing is your sport! You will learn, practice, you want to excel and join the many fencers of the Atlantic Fencing Academy who share your aspirations. Some are still beginners, intermediate or advanced fencers, some have 40+ years of experience. They all are ready to share their knowledge with you and practice with you.
Atlantic Fencing Academy’s memberships and programs offers a variety of approaches to reach your goals. Your costs will be based on a membership fee plus chosen activities, as outlined below. Our experienced coaches will help create a program for your age and level. They will support you from practice to competitions, if you wish to do that.
Our membership offers great values: Included are practicing and bouting (sparring) Monday through Saturday during free floor time, and participation in two half hour “Footwork Classes” per week to advance your fencing. Equipment can be rented for a small monthly fee until you want your own. Our Pro-shop is open for you.
YEARLY MEMBERSHIP $1850
Fencers have the option to pay the yearly membership fee:
Monthly $170
Every 3-month $500
Every 6-month $970
BUILD YOUR OWN PROGRAM (monthly fees for classes, private and specialty lessons)
Classes have various duration based on skill, task and age levels. Fencers do warmup exercises, practice footwork, do specific drills to improve technique and bout with the other members of the group.
Private lessons are essential for those who want to be on a high school or college team, or compete regionally and nationally. 4-8-12 lessons per month make a huge difference in learning the best technique and reaching your goals.
